Module loops
Maintainer: Matthias Saimpert, Richard Plackett
📂 Overview
Module loops are 3D-printed items used to safely transport modules with pigtails.
They are designed to be installed inside a Pelicase equipped with the official foam cuts and must be used for all module shipments of modules shipped with pigtails to ensure proper protection.
A STEP file design for this injection-moulded part has been provided.
The existing injection mould tooling can still be used for new orders.
It is estimated that more than 500 parts remain within the guaranteed tool lifetime.
🏭 Production at Sites / Clusters
Each site or cluster is expected to produce its own module loops during production to ensure sufficient supply for module shipments.
This allows each location to manage production independently and guarantees that loops are always available when needed.
